The AFL has announced itll undertake two major concussion-related projects this year, with all 18 clubs encouraged to participate in both studies.
It comes as the league ponders whether to bring in a substitute player for games in 2021, but only to replace a concussed teammate, as it looks to improve its understanding of head trauma and how the industry can better protect the health and safety of players.
