A naughty Gold Coast rescue pup is in the doghouse, after vets removed 61 stones from his stomach.

Shady the Bull Arab was rushed to the vet when his foster carer realised he’d swallowed dozens of rocks from her backyard. Thankfully, he’s now making a steady recovery and is still up for adoption from Bull Arab Rescue Australia Ltd.

“I just went and felt his tummy and I could feel the sharp edges of the rocks.” – Belynda Armstrong, Shady’s foster carer.
