‘A giant of our sport’: Veteran Magpies footy boss Geoff Walsh announces retirement – Fox Sports

The Magpies released a statement on Monday afternoon confirming Walsh, 64, would finish up next month after a tough, tumultuous season for the club.
However the club insists recent off-field difficulties, highlighted by a salary cap-influenced trade exodus that saw Adam Treloar, Jaidyn Stephendon and Tom Phillips move clubs on deadline day, wasnt a factor in Walshs decision.
