A costly delivery – WA man charged over mailed meth and $197,000 illicit cash.
The 31-year-old man was charged on 29 September 2020 after a joint investigation by Australian Border Force, Australian Federal Police, and the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission into an intercepted mail package containing methamphetamine.
ABF officers at the Sydney Gateway Facility found a kilogram of methamphetamine concealed in the lining of a black handbag before referring the matter to the AFP and ACIC for investigation.
