A bit cloudy but otherwise quite a pleasant morning here in Noosa. Rain overnight. A light 4 to 6 knot north westerly breeze blowing at the river mouth. Not much in the way of swell on the bar. Filmed around 6.15am which was one and a half hours after a 1.35m high tide. BOM forecast is for north westerly winds about 10 knots inshore, reaching 15 to 20 knots offshore during the early morning. Winds tending south to south easterly 10 to 15 knots in the early afternoon. On the way home spotted some good surface activity on the Weyba side of the Munna Point Bridge. Prawns being chased by the odd trevally. Just started to film it as a guy in a surf skiff power paddled through the middle. Looks like we’ll get a good prawn run with more rain leading up to the full moon. Background Music: ‘A Ghost Town’… by Quincas Moreira. www.fishingnoosa.com.au
