A big pat on the back to our 14 Emergency Medical Dispatchers (EMDs) who were nominated for the prestigious 2020 Australasia Dispatcher of the Year Award.
IAED award recognises EMDs who have made the most significant contributions through personal action. We are so proud of our nominees – Chloe, Karen, Lyn and Renee from Cairns Operations Centre (OpCen), Jane and Ross from Maroochydore OpCen, Kahlia and Shelley from Rockhampton OpCen, Angela and Erin from Southport OpCen, Nikki from Brisbane OpCen, Christina and Sandra
from Toowoomba OpCen and Amanda from Townsville OpCen.
And while they may not have taken out the coveted title that deservedly went to a South Australian EMD, their commitment to team work, professionalism and desire to go above and beyond to help people in their time of need, is greatly appreciated. Keep up the fantastic work!
