A 38-year-old Chinese national has been jailed for 6½ years after being convicted of multiple charges relating to extensive migration fraud. A joint ABF, Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and
Trade and Australian Federal Police investigation revealed the woman, who had been living in Perth, masqueraded as a registered migration agent, obtaining more than $300,000 from unsuspecting visa applicants, and charging a number them for services she did not deliver.
