Research, published Scientific progress, Rust may be the result of water found on the moon, but this is still shocking given the lack of oxygen and water shortages on Earth’s satellite.
“It’s very shocking,” said Shuai Li, the lead author of the study, at the University of Hawaii Statement. “The moon is a terrible atmosphere for hematite formation.”
