Ipswich nurse contracts COVID-19 as more than 200 colleagues quarantined – Brisbane Times
The 32-year-old is the fourth health worker at Ipswich Hospital, west of Brisbane, to test positive. She was one of two new cases announced on Sunday.

A total of 222 staff were now in quarantine after contact with colleagues who tested positive. The most recent case was believed to have had contact with staff in the paediatric ward.
“That has an inevitable impact on the rostering at the hospital,” Mr Miles said, adding that some upcoming appointments would have to be relocated or rescheduled as a result.
About 50 Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics will also be trained in order to set up fever clinics to further bring down testing times,…
