Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti had a golden chance to kick Essendon’s first goal within the opening 30 seconds of Sunday’s game against Geelong.

But his selfless decision to try and bring teammate Irving Mosquito into the game backfired big time and his side never looked like it was in the hunt from that moment on.
McDonald-Tipungwuti, whos one of the Bombers most efficient kicks for goal, took a mark around 20m out from goal on a slight angle but the right side for a right-footer.
