Tour de France 2020: Pogačar delights with Pyrenean assault – SBS
Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates) was the best of the general classification candidates during Stage 8 of the Tour de France, attacking twice to rid himself of his rivals for the yellow jersey and taking 40 seconds.
In the battle for the yellow jersey, Pogaar was the man of the day on Stage 8. One minute and 21 seconds were lost yesterday and he was fighting back from the disappointment of that previous stage when he was caught up behind a crash and subsequently missed the split in the crosswinds.
