Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr is ‘done’ being a superhero in Marvel movies – PerthNow
The Iron Man star says he’s finished with the cinema franchise, after making a reported $200 million from his superhero movies.
Actor Robert Downey Jr. has confirmed hes done with Marvel movies for good, ruling out his return as one of the franchises most popular superheroes.
Speaking to Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Seas Hayes on their SmartLess podcast, the 55-year-old, who played Tony Stark in Iron Man and several other spinoffs said he was over being a superhero.
That’s all done, Downey Jr. said.
As far as I’m concerned, I hung up my guns and I’m good to let it go.
I also think that Marvel is on this journey now…
