An improved Broncos side revealed they threw parts of Anthony Seibolds game plan out the window in the build-up to their steely performance against competition heavyweights Penrith. The Broncos were in the contest for much of the night and found themselves down just 14-6 deep in the second half, before eventually losing 25-12.
Brisbane’s interim coach Peter Gentle admitted his side overhauled their approach in the aftermath of former coach Seibold’s decision to step down.
