Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas put Mercedes on top following the Friday’s running in preparation for the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix.
Bottas was fastest in the days opening session before Hamilton set the pace in the second 90-minute hit out.
In both instances they were some eight tenths clear of the chasing pack, headed by Alex Albons Red Bull in FP1 and Lando Norris in FP2.
Times dropped 0.6s between the two sessions, Bottas 1:20.703s being lowered to a 1:20.192s effor…
