Regal Power out of spring – Racing.com
All-Star Mile winner headed home to WA, Arcadia Queen spring also in limbo
All-Star Mile winner Regal Power is out of the Spring Carnival and is heading back home to Western Australia.
Owner/breeder Bob Peters confirmed the news on Thursday morning, shortly after the horse was withdrawn from Saturday’s Group 2 Feehan Stakes.
“He’ll be coming home,” Peters said. “He’s got some sort of lung infection.”
Regal Power was to have backed up into the Feehan from last week’s 12th placing in the G1 Memsie Stakes, where the horse was beaten just under six lengths.
