‘I can’t let this one get away’: the dystopian epic Ridley Scott couldn’t say no to – Sydney Morning Herald
Critical reaction to the series Raised by Wolves – starring Australian actor Travis Fimmel – has been cautiously positive.
“He’s never copied anything his whole life,” Fimmel says. “He’s always created his own world and visuals, and it is kind of extraordinary. And then, you step on the set and he’s planted his own forest and everything is just from Ridley’s creative mind. It’s crazy.”
Scott, for his part, credits Guzikowski’s writing. “It’s all in the material,” he says. “I read the material, the material was inspirational. I thought, I can’t let this one get away. I need to do it. It was that simple.
