The AFL will today announce the Gabba as the host of the 2020 Grand Final.
With the game unable to take place in Victoria because of COVID-19, the AFL had to choose between Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia and New South Wales to stage the showpiece event.
AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan has flown to Brisbane and will make the announcement at some stage on Wednesday.
