Warriors players sad to see Todd Payten leave for Cowboys – Stuff.co.nz
The club’s interm coach will be unveiled as the new Cowboys boss this week.
Warriors halfback Chanel Harris-Tavita says the impact Todd Payten has had on the club is clear for all to see and hell be sad to see him leave at the end of the season.
It is expected to be announced on Wednesday that the clubs interim head coach has joined the Cowboys on a three-year deal from next year, meaning he has just four more regular season games to lead this Warriors team.
Payten is contracted to the Warriors for 2021, but they are not expected to hold him to that.
