Top Tasmanian mare Mystic Journey will head back to the Apple Isle on Monday after a disappointing result in Saturday’s Group I Memsie Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield.
Mystic Journey was again well held in the Memsie Stakes, finishing more than five lengths from the winner in 10th position after a battling first-up effort in the Lawrence Stakes.
