Sonny Bill Williams was a no show in the Roosters’ skills session on Monday, but the club insist it isn’t what it looks like.
Canberra, were not prepared to pour all their energy into a man fit only for a cameo off the bench. It was not lost on them they had two fewer days to prepare for what will now be an historic match.
Williams’ teammates were certainly excited about the possibility of running out alongside the global superstar.
