‘That’s a vote for Perth’: Pies, Demons coaches call on AFL to earn as much money as possible with Grand Final – Fox Sports
Collingwood and Melbourne’s coaches have both called on the AFL to select the Grand Final venue that will make the league the most money – which they’re not expected to do.
The AFL Commission is likely to ratify a recommendation from the leagues executive team on Tuesday which will see the flag decider played at the Gabba in Brisbane, almost certainly on the night of October 24.
While the exact financial figures arent known, its believed a Grand Final at Perths Optus Stadium would earn the league more money.
