Bain puts foot down over board conflict at Virgin 2.0 – The Australian Financial Review
This debate over the make-up of the airline’s new board could prove the first flashpoint between the management and workers under Bain Capital’s ownership.
The objection to Ms Hrdlicka, who will take a non-executive position at Virgin after advising Bain Capital on the deal, is not limited to the TWU.
Her tenure at the top of Jetstar is viewed poorly by multiple unions, which associate her with a severe drop-off in conditions and industrial relations at Jetstar.
