It’s National Stroke Week (31 August – 6 September) and Western Victorian’s are being urged to know the signs of stroke and become a ‘F.A.S.T. hero’.
Stroke is one of Australia’s leading causes of death and disability with 1.9 million brain cells dying each minute unless urgent action is taken to stop the damage.
Stroke Foundation CEO, Sharon McGowan, says there are tell-tale signs to look-out for.
