Ben Ikin has advised against Brisbane employing supercoach Wayne Bennett in a director’s role.
Ikin is a Fox League host but is being widely tipped to land the CEO role at the Broncos when Paul White exits the post at seasons end.
And that means the decision whether to bring Bennet back to Red Hill or not could ultimately fall in his hands if he does accept the job at the club he once represented.
The Courier Mail reported on Saturday that the Broncos are considering bringing the veteran coach back into the fold to help repair the mess they find themselves in.
