Before Prince Harry was named the Duke of Sussex following his 2018 wedding to Meghan Markle, there was another royal who went by the same title.
Born in 1773, Prince Augustus Frederick was the sixth son and ninth child of King George III, and the only Duke of Sussex before Harry.
