I Am Woman’s director Unjoo Moon on why now is the right time to release the Helen Reddy biopic – Nine

Like many people who know the song ‘I Am Woman’ and can proudly sing its iconic lyrics, Australian director Unjoo Moon wasn’t overly familiar with the woman behind the track.
But she knew Helen Reddy’s name well enough to swap seats with her husband, cinematographer Dion Beebe, when she saw Reddy’s name on a place card at an awards season event they attended a few years ago.
