Luckless Hawthorn recruit Jonathon Patton has suffered yet another injury setback, but the club has confirmed it is more positive than first feared.
The former number one draft pick pulled up lame with his head in his hands during the first term of his sides loss to the Bombers on Thursday, with onlookers fearing an ruptured achilles or fourth ACL tear.
Although he will miss some footy, the Hawks were thankful when relaying the results of scans for the 27-year-old.
