Racing’s greatest ambassador Subzero, a 1992 Melbourne Cup winner, has died just two months after his great mate and long-time carer Graham Salisbury passed away.

“He would have been so bonded to Graham and fretting so badly for Graham since Graham died, about two or three months ago, he’s just given up.
“He was the greatest living thoroughbred before he died and now he’s the greatest ever, not just because of what he did on the track but the joy he gave people after he finished racing and the service he gave to racing.
