Scientists Discover Fossil Of ‘Man Sized’ Penguin In New Zealand – Triple M

In a real ‘stuff of nightmares’ type of scenario, archeologists have found remnants of a man sized penguin on the coast of New Zealand.
Fossil hunters found fragments of a fossil encased inside a rock on Hampden beach in Otago, with the remnants suggesting the penguin stood at a whopping 1.77m and weighed around 100kgs.
Yeah, you read that right: a hundred kilo, 5″8 tall penguin.
The fossil is reportedly around 50-60 million years old.
