Mardi Dangerfield and Hester Brown dont want to be known as footy WAGS they say they deserve to be referred to as significant others.
The duo hope to dispel stereotypes and misconceptions about the partners of players and those connected with the football world.
Ms Brown, partner of Kangaroos forward Ben Brown, said the term significant other was less demeaning and created a more positive perception.
