Hawthorn president Jeff Kennett has sensationally backflipped on his decision to step down from the role at the end of the year, declaring he will run for re-election in December.
He notified the clubs 71,000 members of his decision on Wednesday, after a lot of thought, soul searching and discussion.
The outspoken former Victorian Premier put his backflip down to the impacts of Covid-19.
