Zip surges on eBay deal – The Australian Financial Review
Zip hit a fresh record on Wednesday after announcing a move into business lending, on the back of a partnership with eBay Australia.

The deal that will see Zip enter invoice financing comes a day after cloud accounting powerhouse Xero said it would do the same. Xero said on Tuesday it paid $31 million to buy Waddle, an invoice financing fintech that had competed with Spotcap.
Offshore markets have also seen rapid deal flow in small business lending.
