With sniffles and coughs touted among the most common symptoms we’ve come to associate with COVID-19, there’s no denying the predicament faced by hay fever and asthma sufferers as we cross into pollen season this year.
Sydney mum Sarah Elliott, 46, suffers from both hay fever and asthma, and is all too familiar with the glares and subsequent shame her coughing and sneezing fits elicit during these tense times.
“Being in public going into a coughing fit is very embarrassing,” she tells 9Honey.
