The 2021 Mazda CX-30 may be getting the Mazda 3 Turbo engine from November.
While exact details are scarce, it’s understood Mazda has added the CX-30 Turbo to dealership documents in the US, according to website CarsDirect.
As the CX-30 is based on the same platform as the Mazda 3, it makes sense the more powerful engine would find its way into the small SUV.
The 2.5-litre turbo four-cylinder offers 170kW/420Nm on standard unleaded, with 186kW/434Nm available on high-octane petrol.
