Afterpay shares hit record high on $82m European deal – The Australian Financial Review
The fintech juggernaut will roll out its Clearpay brand across Europe after buying Spanish payments company Pagantis for €50 million.

Afterpay has already established a presence in Britain where it acquired Clearpay exactly two years ago.
But it has identified Europe as the next logical step in its expansion plan and will roll out the Clearpay brand on the Continent.
Ord Minnett senior research analyst Phillip Chippindale said the launch into Europe via Clearpay was in line with expectations, and should result in a small increase in consensus revenue estimates.
