Horror crash mars controversial Indy 500 as Takuma Sato takes second win in four years – Wide World of Sports

The Indianapolis 500 has finished in controversy, after a huge crash in the closing stages resulted in the race finishing under yellow caution flags.
Japan’s Takuma Sato won at the brickyard for the second time, although in totally different circumstances to his 2017 victory, with COVID-19 forcing the race to be run in front of empty grandstands.
