Michael Ennis has blasted the NRL’s crackdown on crusher tackles and backed the players for milking penalties after a series of incidents in Round 15.

While Ennis believes the idea is right behind the crackdown aimed at improving the safety of players, Ennis believes there are accidents that shouldnt cost a team a player for two weeks, particularly in the finals series.
The idea is right we want the crusher tackle out of the game, but the accidents shouldnt be graded 200 points, Ennis said.
