Commentator stood down for ‘insulting’ remark about women – Yahoo Sport Australia
An American commentator has come under fire for an “insensitive and insulting” comment about women during a live broadcast.
American broadcaster NBC Sports was forced to remove Mike Milbury from his NHL assignment after the veteran caller was slammed over a sexist comment during a game.
The NHL issued a formal statement condemning Milbury for the commentary during Thursdays New York Islanders-Washington Capitals game.
