Coronavirus Ireland update today: Further spike as 156 new cases and 2 deaths announced – Irish Mirror
The figures come as lockdown in Co. Kildare remains in place for a further two weeks while restrictions have since been lifted in Laois and Offaly

A further 156 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Ireland this evening.
Meanwhile another 2 people have sadly died due to Covid-19 it has been announced.
The figures were released by the National Public Health Emergency Team this evening.
Of the cases notified today;
- 81 are men / 75 are women
- 71% are under 45 years of age
- 68 are confirmed to be associated with outbreaks or are close contacts of a confirmed case
