STA Travel has gone into administration as the tourism industry continues to struggle amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The student travel organisation, founded by two Australians whod returned from overseas, has closed its 27 stores across Australia for the foreseeable future, the ABC reports.
Deloitte Joint Voluntary Administrator Jason Tracy told the ABC that they were making an urgent assessment of STAs financial position.
