A technical issue with Tasmania’s coronavirus test referral system has left some people waiting to be tested for days, after their referrals disappeared.
Some Tasmanians requiring coronavirus tests have had to wait for days for a booking, after their referrals disappeared due to a technical issue.
State Health Commander Kathrine Morgan-Wicks on Saturday urged people who had received a GP referral for a test but had not heard anything further to contact the public health hotline.
A technical error has affected the referral system for the state-run testing clinics, with referrals made on Thursday and Friday appearing to vanish.
