‘Insane’: Man’s $3.4 billion bank account surprise – Yahoo Finance Australia
Blaise Aguirre reveals his “fifteen minutes of insane wealth”.
A Bank of America customer has woken up to a huge surprise, after he checked his bank account and found a whopping US$2.45 billion (AU$3.4 billion) in it.
The customer, Blaise Aguirre, waited for the bank to contact him after he saw his billion-dollar balance on mobile app, but when they didnt he reached out to them, and was told the money was never actually there.
This was a display error and nothing more than that, Bank of America spokesman Bill Halldin told Bloomberg.
Its been corrected.
