Ubisoft collector’s editions on Xbox One, Series X won’t include disc copies – Polygon
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Far Cry 6, and Watch Dogs: Legion each have collector’s editions that cost nearly $200. But Ubisoft says those packages will no longer come with a physical copy of the game on Xbox — yet they will on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
The collectors edition packages for three of Ubisofts biggest upcoming games will no longer come with the game on a physical disc for U.K.-based customers on Xbox, that is. The PlayStation versions will still include disc copies.
Pre-orders for Collectors Editions of Assassins Creed Valhalla, Far Cry 6 and Watch Dogs: Legion for Xbox will receive a digital key to redeem, instead of a physical disc, reads a post on Ubisofts U.K. support site.
