COVID-positive people wait days to isolate, threatening NSW’s success – Sydney Morning Herald
For the first time in two weeks, there were no new COVID-19 cases in people with no known contact to confirmed cases or clusters.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison said NSW’s public health response to the pandemic is “simply magnificent”, and confirms the national cabinet’s support of a suppression strategy.
NSW’s new case was detected among a staggering 32,580 tests carried out over the 24-hour period. They were a close contact of a COVID case at Hornsby Hospital and had been self-isolating since before their infectious period began.
