Websites selling home-based COVID-19 testing kits providing inadequate or misleading information – News-Medical.Net
In the UK and US, many websites are selling direct to user self-sampling and testing kits to detect SARS-CoV-2. Recently, a cross-sectional observational study was carried out to check the completeness and accuracy of information provided by these websites.
In the view of recent severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) outbreak, movement restriction (lockdown) and mass testing are considered to be the most important measures to control the viral spread.
