NSW records one new case of COVID-19 – lowest increase in seven weeks – Sydney Morning Herald
NSW has recorded a single new COVID-19 case on Friday among more than 32,500 people tested in the latest 24-hour reporting period.

But Chief Health Officer Kerry Chant warned the virus was still circulating in the community.
The new case is a close contact of a previously reported case at Hornsby Hospital.
The individual was isolating before they became infectious once their close contact had tested positive, NSW Health said.
“While case numbers have remained low this week, the virus continues to circulate in the community and vigilance must be maintained,” Dr Chant said.
