Shane Warne was put into a spin after the 2017 Melbourne Cup.
The cricket legend enjoyed a mammoth collect on the race won by Rekindling, having $250 each way on the Lloyd Williams-owned horse that paid $17.10 and $5.90.
He also had $250 each way on Williams’ runner-up Johannes Vermeer, who paid $4.20 the place.
And to round it all out Warne also had $500 on a six-horse box trifecta, which as you can guess, also saluted. The spin king snared approximately 416 per cent of the $3052.10 dividend…
