Aaron Finch reveals retirement date – SEN
“That’s my goal and I’m sticking to it.”
Australian ODI captain Aaron Finch has revealed he plans to retire after the 2023 World Cup in India.
Finch will look to lead Australia for another three years in white-ball cricket with two T20 World Cups in 2021 and 2022 and a 50-over tournament scheduled in that period.
The 33-year-old opening batsman says the extra time off due to the COVID-19 pandemic has freshened him up and improved his chances of playing through to 2023.
