The music streaming service Spotify was offline for more than an hour for users around the world on Wednesday.
Users could only play songs that were already downloaded to their devices. And in many cases, songs are cut out after just a few seconds.
The problems started around 1:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday and affected both free and paid users. The company has nearly 300 million users.
Spotify didn’t say what was causing the problem.
