McGowan dodges heat over gas exemption for Stokes-backed energy company – WAtoday
The Waitsia joint venture is the only project exempt from changes to the gas reservation policy, which will ban the export of onshore gas extracted in WA to overseas or the eastern states.
Mr McGowan refused to answer questions about whether he had discussed the exemption with Mr Stokes or his son Ryan, the chief executive of Seven Group Holdings.
